I have a Masters degree in Human Nutrition (Distinction) and I am trained in behaviour change techniques, which are crucial for making successful changes to your dietary habits.
Previously I spent fifteen years developing the parenting site Netmums and was lucky enough to be awarded an OBE for “services to families” in 2012. My Netmums highlights included developing the food section, aimed at making family eating healthy and fun, and using the parent power of Netmums to campaign on food related issues making it easier for parents to serve up healthier meals. I also developed an online course, sponsored by the Department of Health, giving parents confidence in their own ability to cook and provide healthy food for loved ones.
Successful weight management is not about fad diets, calorie counting and banning foods. I will help you understanding your diet choices and find achievable ways to become (and stay) a healthy weight, offering lots of support and behaviour change tactics along the way.
